As a Security Officer Patrol in Sparks, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and delivery drivers at a technology data center by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the data center campus, including building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, perimeter points, and critical infrastructure areas, while reporting unusual conditions.
Monitor access points, visitor activity, alarms, cameras, and other security-related systems; verify credentials and follow established visitor and contractor entry procedures.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership, and complete required documentation.
Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications while supporting a professional, customer-focused environment for a high-availability technology location.
Minimum Requirements:
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
