As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a dynamic technology location, you will monitor access points, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and assist employees, visitors, and vendors with professionalism. Pay Rate: $25.21 / Hour

DayTimeWed02:00 PM - 10:00 PMThur10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, contractors, and/or personnel at a technology data center by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the data center campus, buildings, access points, perimeter, and parking areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns.

Monitor access control points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report access-related issues to the appropriate personnel.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.

Prepare clear and accurate reports, complete required logs, and communicate observations and incidents to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

Customer service experience is preferred.

A guard card or license is preferred.

CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
