Job Description

As a Security Officer - Data Center in Phoenix, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal at a professional financial institution location where you will serve as a welcoming front desk presence, helping to monitor access, assist visitors, support badge and alarm processes, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism and care. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.

Greet visitors, employees, and vendors, monitor access to the location, and help to deter unauthorized entry through established sign-in and credential verification processes.

Respond to incidents, visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.

Answer phones, support front desk operations, and maintain accurate visitor logs, incident notes, and other required documentation for the location.

Observe lobby and reception area activity, report unusual behavior and/or conditions, and follow client-facing protocols for a financial institution environment.

Minimum Requirements:

A current guard card or license is preferred.

Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
