Job Description
As a Security Officer Full Time for Data Center in El Segundo, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, help to deter incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while contributing to a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and onsite personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, data center areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
Monitor access activity and support visitor management procedures in accordance with site requirements.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established communication channels.
Prepare accurate reports and maintain activity logs for patrols, incidents, and other security-related observations.
Minimum Requirements:
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
