About This Role
Astro Pak is the nation's leading precision cleaning and passivation contractor specializing in on-site cleaning of high purity gas and fluid systems, as well as precision cleaning of components and hardware at the company’s Cleanroom facilities. Astro Pak provides services to over 15 sectors including: Data Centers, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical, Aerospace, Semiconductor, and other selected Industrial markets. The company, founded in 1959, has performed on-site precision chemical cleaning in every State of the Union as well as several projects in Asia, continental Europe, England, Ireland and Mexico.

Astro Pak is hiring Traveling Field Technicians to join our nationwide Data Center team. In this role, you'll travel to Data Center projects across the U.S., performing specialized cleaning and passivation services on high-purity piping systems that support critical infrastructure.
No industry experience? No problem. We provide paid training and the opportunity to build a long-term technical career.
***$3,000 Sign-On Bonus***
What You'll Do
Travel to data center job sites throughout the U.S.
Perform specialized chemical cleaning and passivation of piping systems
Set up and operate pumps, hoses, and other field equipment
Safely handle chemicals while following strict safety procedures
Work alongside a team to complete customer projects safely and efficiently
Travel & Schedule
Nationwide travel (80%+)
Projects typically last 6-8 weeks, with opportunities to return home between assignments when scheduling allows
Frequent overtime available
30-50% night shift work
Weekend and holiday work may be required based on project needs
Qualifications
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
Real ID or Passport for air travel
Ability to attend two weeks of paid training in California or Texas
Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Certificate
Ability to lift 50 lbs. and work in PPE
Mechanically inclined with a strong work ethic
Willing to travel extensively
