• Plans and implements safety policies and procedures in compliance with local,
state, and federal OSHA regulations and Black Box’s Safety Injury & Illness
Prevention Program (IIPP).
• Develops, implements, and delivers safety and orientation training programs.
• Inspects facilities to identify existing or potential hazards, recommends
corrective measures, and verifies implementation.
• Maintains safety documentation including audits, inspections, Pre-Task Plans
(PTP), Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), and Safety Data Sheets (SDSs).
• Participates in accident and injury investigations and supports preparation of
materials for hearings, lawsuits, and insurance cases.
• Excellent communication, organization, prioritization skills, and proficiency
• Other duties as necessary.
* Minimum of 2+ year's experience in the construction industry in a similar
role. Experience with large structured cabling projects and/ord data center
construction projects highly preferred.
* Experience developing and implementing safety programs, conducting hazard
mitigation activities, and supporting large-scale construction projects (data
center experience preferred).
* Bachelor's degree in occupational health & safety or related field Or a BCSP
Certification (such as CSP, ASP, CHST or OHST).
Preferred professional certifications:
* OSHA Outreach Trainer Certification for OSHA 10/30 Hour
