Senior Manager-Data Center | BKK03 - DC03

We are seeking an experienced Data Center Operations Manager to lead the

day-to-day operational management of our Bangkok data center, ensuring maximum

uptime, operational excellence, and exceptional customer service.

Role Overview

The Data Center Operations Manager will be responsible for the safe, reliable,

and efficient operation of DAMAC Digital's Bangkok data center. This leadership

role oversees all facility operations, critical infrastructure maintenance,

vendor management, operational procedures, compliance, and customer support

activities while driving continuous improvement across the site.

The successful candidate will lead a multidisciplinary operations team, ensuring

the facility consistently meets or exceeds uptime commitments, operational KPIs,

and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities Data Center Operations

* Lead the day-to-day operations of the Bangkok data center.

* Ensure 24/7 availability of all critical infrastructure.

* Maintain operational readiness across power, cooling, fire protection,

security, and building management systems.

* Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Emergency

Operating Procedures (EOPs), and Method of Procedures (MOPs).

* Drive operational excellence through preventative maintenance and continuous

improvement initiatives.

Critical Facilities Management

* Oversee operation and maintenance of:

* Electrical distribution systems

* UPS systems

* Generators

* Chillers and HVAC systems

* CRAH/CRAC units

* Building Management Systems (BMS)

* Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS)

* Fire Detection & Suppression Systems

* Security systems

* Coordinate all planned maintenance while minimising operational risk.

Team Leadership

* Lead, mentor, and develop the site operations team.

* Build a culture focused on safety, accountability, customer service, and

continuous improvement.

* Manage staffing levels and on-call rotations.

* Conduct performance reviews and development planning.

Incident & Change Management

* Lead incident response for critical events.

* Ensure effective root cause analysis and corrective actions.

* Chair post-incident reviews.

* Manage change control processes to minimise operational risk.

* Ensure all maintenance activities follow approved MOPs.

Vendor & Contractor Management

* Manage third-party service providers and specialist contractors.

* Monitor vendor performance against SLAs.

* Review maintenance reports and service quality.

* Ensure contractor compliance with health, safety, and security requirements.

Customer Operations

* Act as the primary operational contact for customers.

* Support customer audits and site visits.

* Coordinate planned maintenance communications.

* Ensure customer service standards are consistently achieved.

Health, Safety & Compliance

* Promote a strong safety-first culture.

* Ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards.

* Lead operational risk assessments.

* Support business continuity and disaster recovery planning.

* Maintain compliance with ISO standards including:

* ISO 27001

* ISO 9001

* ISO 14001

* ISO 45001

* ISO 22301 (preferred)

Reporting & Performance

* Monitor operational KPIs including:

* Uptime

* Incident response

* MTTR

* Preventative maintenance completion

* Energy efficiency (PUE)

* Produce monthly operational reports for senior leadership.

* Manage operational budgets and cost optimisation initiatives.
