Senior Data Center Cabling Project Management
Application completed on Dell Technologies
About This Role
SENIOR DATA CENTER CABLING PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Dell Technologies is enabling the next generation of AI and HPC infrastructure
at unprecedented scale. Our Data Center Cabling Project Management team drives
the delivery of complex, high-density physical network infrastructure —
including Ethernet (400G/800G), Fiber (MPO/MMC), and InfiniBand - powering
large-scale GPU clusters, hyperscale environments, and mission-critical data
center operations across the Middle East.
What you’ll achieve:
We are looking for an experienced and driven Data Center Cabling Project Manager
with 5–10 years of relevant experience to lead the onsite deployment of
large-scale, complex cabling projects across advanced data center environments.
In this role, you will combine deep technical expertise in high-speed Ethernet,
Fiber, and InfiniBand cabling systems with strong project leadership skills. You
will oversee large-scale deployments involving 20,000+ endpoints and GPU
clusters of 5,000+ GPUs across multiple data halls, working closely with global
stakeholders, customers, and cabling partners.
You will:
* Lead end-to-end project management of complex cabling programs involving
20,000+ cables, including project planning, scheduling, budgeting, risk and
change management, resource allocation, and ensuring timely delivery of
critical BOM components (devices, transceivers, rack components, and
cabling).
* Coordinate and manage multiple cabling partner teams across 24×7 shifts,
developing and executing onsite deployment plans in alignment with cabling
partners and program management teams.
* Lead and oversee onsite installation of copper, fiber, and InfiniBand
cabling, ensuring compliance with Dell Data Center Cabling Standards,
including proper labeling, routing, dressing, bend radius, cable fill ratios,
safety, and quality requirements.
* Drive data center assessments, testing, validation, and final customer
handover, ensuring all deliverables are completed to a high standard,
including test results, rack elevations, floor plans, patch schedules, BOMs,
and partner sign-offs.
* Review and validate large-scale cabling designs and technical documentation,
including BOMs, leaf-spine/super-spine topologies, rack elevations, floor
plans, and cable tray layouts. Collaborate closely with the EMEA Cabling Lead
and support the qualification of new cabling partners.
