Within this segment, Eaton has an opening for a Data Center Engineer - Quality Excellence Manager. This position is a globally scoped, senior individual contributor within the Post Order Center of Excellence (CoE). This role is accountable for defining, governing, and continuously improving end‑to‑end post‑order process quality across Eaton’s Global Data Center Segment.
Operating in close partnership with the Quality Manager – Global Data Center Segment and the Quality Specialist – Assurance & Testing, this position ensures that standardized, capable, and scalable processes underpin execution across regions, factories, project teams, and service organizations. The role focuses on process design, control, and continuous improvement, enabling predictable customer outcomes and reducing execution risk at scale.
What you’ll do:
Global Process Quality Ownership
Define, document, and maintain global post-order process standards for the Global Data Center Segment, ensuring alignment across regions and execution models using innovative engineering solutions to address complex challenges.
Develop and standardize industrialization methodologies, processes and best practices, contributing to manufacturing engineering knowledge and capability.
Drive process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturability, quality and operational performance.
Establish process governance frameworks, including process ownership, control points, and change management mechanisms.
Ensure processes are designed to be scalable, auditable, and resilient across complex global programs and hyperscale customers by using technical engineering skillset.
Process Performance & Capability
Develop and deploy process capability metrics, leading indicators, and control mechanisms to monitor execution quality.
Identify systemic process gaps, inefficiencies, and failure modes, translating insights into targeted improvement actions.
Partner with Operational Excellence (OPEX), PMO, and Services teams to embed quality into daily execution workflows.
Continuous Improvement & Standardization
Lead cross-functional initiatives to simplify, standardize, and harmonize post-order processes across regions.
Apply structured problem-solving and continuous improvement methodologies to drive measurable improvements in execution quality, cycle time, and predictability.
Ensure lessons learned and best practices are captured and institutionalized globally.
Quality Ecosystem Collaboration
Work closely with the Quality Specialist – Assurance & Testing to ensure process controls align with assurance mechanisms and testing strategies.
Support the Quality Manager – Global Data Center Segment in shaping the overall post-order quality framework and maturity roadmap.
Collaborate with regional teams, factories, and service organizations to ensure global standards are practical, adopted, and sustained.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Quality, Operations, or a related technical discipline from an accredited institution.
Minimum of (8) years of progressive experience in quality assurance, testing, execution governance, or operational excellence within complex, global environments.
Skills:
Minimum of (10) years of progressive experience in quality assurance, testing, execution governance, or operational excellence within complex, global environments.
Demonstrated experience supporting large, engineered solutions, capital projects, or services delivery, ideally within data centers, critical power, infrastructure, or adjacent industries.
Formal quality or continuous improvement certifications (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, ISO‑related frameworks).
Experience working in or leading teams based in the Middle East or other global hubs.
