Ready to suit up as a Security Guard in Barrie
We are seeking a reliable and professional Security Guard to provide overnight security coverage at a secure data center facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining site security, monitoring access, and ensuring the safety of personnel, property, and critical infrastructure.
Position Title: Security Guard - Data Center
Employment Type: Full-Time
Pay Rate: $19.31 per hour
Shift Schedule:
Overnights: Tuesday to Friday, 00:00 - 08:00 & Sunday: 20:00 - 08:00
To Qualify to be hired for this position, you MUST have lived in Canada for 5 consecutive years and be able to pass Reliability Clearance Status with the Government.

Responsibilities for Security Guard in Barrie
Control and monitor access to the data center facility
Conduct regular patrols of the site (interior and exterior)
Monitor CCTV, alarms, and security systems
Enforce site policies and security procedures
Respond appropriately to incidents, emergencies, and alarms
Complete accurate incident reports and shift logs
Communicate effectively with site management and emergency services as required
Qualifications for Security Guard in Barrie
Be authorized to work in Canada
Must be eligible for Government of Canada Reliability Status clearance
Must have been a Canadian resident for the past five (5) consecutive years
Valid security guard license (as required by provincial regulations)
A valid First Aid Certificate Required
Strong reliability, punctuality, and professionalism
Ability to work overnight shifts and extended hours (12-hour Sunday shift)
Strong observation and communication skills
Ability to remain alert and focused in a high-security environment
