MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

* Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

* 5 years of experience in program management.

* Experience in people management.

* Experience in data center security.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

* 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.

* Experience with the domain area of NPI launch, hardware manufacturing, supply

chain operations, material management, and technical operations.

* Familiarity with global standards such as ISO/IEC 27001, SOC 2, PCI-DSS, and

NIST 800-53/88.

* Knowledge of physical security systems and their impacts with logical

security, including the chain of custody for storage media

(shredding/degaussing), encryption, and network hardware protection.

complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects using your engineering

expertise. You plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects

through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing project schedules,

identifying risks and clearly communicating them to project stakeholders. You're

equally at home explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to

executives as you are discussing the technical trade-offs in product development

with engineers.

Engineering-specific programs and teams.

seeking an experienced Data Security Manager to lead and drive strategic

security initiatives across our data center fleet. This role requires a strong

technical background, program management expertise, and the ability to influence

and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance our security posture,

ensure compliance, and manage risk. You will be responsible for large-scale,

complex programs that have a direct impact on the security, resilience, and

efficiency of Google's data centers.

The Data Center team designs and operates some of the most sophisticated

electrical and HVAC systems in the world. We are an upbeat, creative,

team-oriented group of engineers committed to building and operating powerful

data centers.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills,

experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $163000 - $236000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Manage a team driving strategic data center security programs from initiation

to completion, ensuring they align with business objectives and key results.

* Identify, assess, and mitigate risks related to data center security,

operations, and compliance.

* Develop and implement scalable processes and best practices to improve

security operations and program execution.

* Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to data

center security and data protection.

* Contribute to the continuous improvement of data center security policies and

procedures.
