MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
* Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
* 8 years of experience in program management.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Demonstrated experience in hardware or software development, including
network switch design or network fabric design and deployment.
* Experience with launching data center products and deployments.
* Technical judgment and an understanding of large-scale distributed systems.
* Strong sense of accountability and ownership throughout the project
lifecycle, coupled with sound knowledge of project management principles.
* Adept at engaging with director-level personnel and executives, with an
ability in executive-level communication.
* Advanced program management skills, with the demonstrated ability to
successfully drive and land large and complex programs.

your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start
to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks,
manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners
across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses
and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs
in product development with engineers.
PLANet team is hiring a Technical Program Manager (TPM) to manage network
infrastructure solutions and Data Center Networking, supporting critical Google
products like AI/ML, Cloud, Search, Ads, Maps, and YouTube. This TPM role
partners with Engineering and Product Management leadership to drive technical
vision, strategy, and execution of technology development programs, leveraging
leadership, technical skills, and program management to deliver scalable,
data-driven solutions that accelerate customer success for Google's technical
infrastructure.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills,
experience, and relevant education or training.
US: $192000 - $278000 (USD) + 20% bonus target + equity + benefits

RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Lead highly cross-functional systems programs (hardware and software) from
inception to delivery, ensuring predictability, quality, and tangible value
for our customers.
* Navigate ambiguity, adapt to evolving requirements, and manage shifting
priorities effectively.
* Align team members and stakeholders through clear, widespread, and
transparent communication.
* Utilize technical judgment to drive project delivery, lead technology
reviews, guide technical proposals, and build consensus across
cross-functional teams.
* Contribute to improving Google's on-time delivery of network capacity with
high availability and maximum efficiency.
