Manufacturing Planner – Data Center
Location: Mt. Pleasant, PA
Schedule: Full-Time - Onsite
About the Role
We are seeking a Manufacturing Planner to support the growth of our Data Center customer programs. This role will be responsible for coordinating production requirements, material availability, work orders, and manufacturing schedules to ensure customer orders are completed accurately and on time.
The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where priorities can change quickly. You will work closely with Production, Materials, Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, and other departments to identify potential issues and keep customer orders moving through the manufacturing process.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and coordinate production activities supporting high-volume Data Center manufacturing programs
* Enter and maintain work orders in the MRP system based on customer sales orders and production requirements
* Review customer requirements and ensure production orders are properly prepared for manufacturing
* Create and maintain accurate files and documentation for each sales release through order completion
* Prepare and initiate shop floor packets and manufacturing documentation
* Monitor material availability and proactively identify shortages that could impact production schedules
* Coordinate with Materials, Purchasing, Production, and other departments to resolve shortages and other issues affecting customer requirements
* Track production progress and communicate order status, delays, and potential risks to appropriate departments
* Adjust and maintain production schedules based on changing customer priorities, material availability, engineering changes, revisions, and cancellations
* Support changing priorities associated with Data Center customer demand and production requirements
* Update production status reports and provide accurate information regarding order and production status
* Assign and maintain serial numbers for assemblies requiring serialization, as applicable
* Maintain accurate records within the MRP system and other planning tools
* Identify potential production constraints and communicate issues before they impact customer delivery
* Work cross-functionally to help ensure on-time delivery, production readiness, and customer commitments are met
* Perform other duties and assignments as required

* Intermediate computer skills, including experience working with spreadsheets and manufacturing systems
* Ability to maintain accurate records, files, and system data
* Experience working with an MRP/ERP system preferred
* Manufacturing planning, scheduling, materials, or production control experience preferred
Required Education & Experience
* High School Diploma or equivalent required
* Associate's degree preferred
* 2–4 years of related manufacturing, production planning, scheduling, materials, or production control experience required
