About This Role

Seeking a Scheduling Manager to provide Owner Rep P6 schedule oversight of General Contractor schedules on a data center build - Abernathy, TX

This is a hybrid remote flex role that will require commitment to 25-50% travel to the Abernathy, TX site.

Minimum Qualifications:

-Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or relevant functional discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience

-3-10+ years related work

-Understand the Critical Path Method of scheduling theoretically and as it applies to projects

-Ability to understand and accurately interpret construction documents (drawings, specifications, contracts/general conditions) at all levels of design.

-Expert knowledge of Primavera Scheduling Software (P6, latest Version) and MS

-Extensive experience using Microsoft Office software tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Word.

-Data center experience is a plus.

Duties and Responsibilities:

-Independently audit general contractor (GC) Primavera P6 schedules (XER files) for accuracy and conformance to client standards and project requirements.

-Help to establish and maintain a national, repeatable scheduling framework—including templates, coding structures, and reporting formats.

-Track and report critical milestones, enabling client leadership to make timely, data‑driven decisions.

-Baseline & Progress Audits: Monthly at minimum; Focused Audits: Weekly, upon GC update receipt or at client request

-Track OFCI equipment delivery dates and highlight problem areas, with the afore mentioned superintendent and subcontractor buy-in to solutions.

-Run DCMA Checks. 2. Compare against contractual baseline & previous period. 3. Review activities that are running in parallel. 4. Review multiple float paths. 5. Identify variance drivers & risks. 6. Recommend corrective actions.

-Standardize L1 and L2 Milestones to be able to compare different construction projects

-Validate that constraints are assigned only to required L1 and L2 identifies milestones and ensure that the critical path is logical.

-Ability to translate, create and update schedule sequences to PDF drawings for visual

-You will join the Project Controls team in providing professional scheduling capabilities and enable Client's ability to profoundly affect and accelerate speed to market

-Responsible for developing policies and procedures for scheduling and facilitating user training with our internal and external stakeholders

-Contribute to the development of planning and sequencing of activities from concept through commissioning

-Define activities and associated scope, durations, logic, and interface between activities and resource loading of those activitie

-Review and analyze critical path schedules, in an efficient and comprehensive manner with

-Develop comprehensive plans that communicates the programs, projects, and strategic goals

-Monitor schedule performance data, develop complex data analysis, and issue schedule reports required by management and project procedures

-Investigate and incorporate project constraints in planning effort

-Perform Time Impact Analysis and Claims analyzation

-Develop schedule variance analysis

-Run schedule risk scenarios based on Monte Carlo and other risk analysis

KALCON is seeking an experienced and proactive Field Project Manager to support the successful delivery of mission-critical data center construction projects. Acting as an extension of the Owner's Representative team, this role provides day-to-day field oversight and coordination of construction activities, contractor performance, project interfaces, schedule execution, quality assurance, commissioning readiness, and project turnover. The Field Manager serves as the owner's on-site representative and works closely with contractors, consultants, vendors, commissioning teams, operations personnel, and other stakeholders to support safe, efficient, and successful project delivery.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Building Science, or a related field preferred.

5+ years of experience supporting commercial, industrial, mission-critical, data center, healthcare, manufacturing, or large-scale infrastructure construction projects.

Experience serving as a Field Manager, Field Engineer, Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent, Assistant Construction Manager, Owner's Representative, Project Engineer, or similar construction leadership role.

Strong knowledge of construction means and methods, project sequencing, scheduling, procurement, quality control, safety practices, commissioning, and project closeout processes.

Experience coordinating contractors, subcontractors, consultants, vendors, and owner stakeholders in active construction environments.

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, schedules, contracts, and technical project documentation.

Experience tracking and coordinating RFIs, submittals, procurement activities, inspections, commissioning activities, turnover requirements, and project documentation.

Familiarity with CPM schedules, look-ahead planning, milestone tracking, and construction progress reporting.

Working knowledge of quality assurance, quality control, contractor safety programs, and punch-list management.

Experience supporting projects in occupied facilities, live environments, phased turnovers, or operational settings preferred.

Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, and construction management platforms such as Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Unifier, or similar systems.

Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with contractors, consultants, vendors, clients, and project stakeholders.

Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment.

Ability to perform regular site walks and provide field-based oversight throughout all phases of construction.

Ability to travel as required based on project assignments.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Daily Field Management

Maintain an active field presence and observe construction activities for general conformance with contract documents, approved submittals, design intent, project requirements, and planned

Assess daily and weekly progress, validate reported completion, and identify emerging constraints before they affect cost, schedule, safety, quality, commissioning, or

Coordinate base-building, tenant fit-out, retrofit, and live-facility interfaces, including site access, logistics, deliveries, work areas, temporary conditions, and phased

Coordinate owner, general contractor, fit-out contractor, direct vendor, and third-party activities in the field

Support MOP, shutdown, notification, energization, startup, and other critical-work

Schedule, Procurement and Document Coordination

Track day-to-day schedule performance, critical activities, near-term look-aheads, constraints, and recovery

Participate in weekly CPM reviews, detailed planning meetings, subcontractor coordination sessions, and vendor startup

Track RFIs, submittals, procurement items, OFCI equipment, owner-direct vendors, inspections, and required decisions that affect field

Coordinate customer or tenant fit-out milestones with base-building completion and turnover

Document significant events, differing conditions, rework, access limitations, and potential change

Quality, Safety, Cost and Closeout Support

Provide general oversight of contractor ǪA/ǪC and safety implementation and promptly elevate observed deficiencies or

Participate in regular site walks, punch-list reviews, inspections, and correction

Support review of pay applications, change requests, buyout information, and field quantities by validating actual site conditions and

Lead or support OAC and field coordination meetings, weekly reporting, meeting minutes, and action

Coordinate project closeout, including punch lists, OCM manuals, training, operations turnover, permits, AHJ inspections, certificates of occupancy, and financial closeout
