The Opportunity
In this role you will:
Actively participate in the tender/bid process--from initial tender/bid documentation through analysis and reporting
Analyse cost reports and regularly review with senior management, as the MEP expert in the team
Conduct budget preparation including detailed cost modelling and benchmarking analysis, and reviews with senior management
Manage project costs against budget throughout your project, including cost reviews, value engineering, and cost saving initiatives to increase client value
Support the settlement of construction disputes/loss and expense claims with transparency
Support nimble project management and clear decisions through excellent cost documentation and timely communication
Foster top performance and growth for your team via excellent mentorship and leadership
Lead your team to deliver impeccable quality and client valu
We would love to hear from you if you:
Are an experienced cost or commercial manager on large scale construction projects with increasing levels of leadership
Have extensive cost manager experience focused on MEP, ideally from a consultancy background working on large and complex projects
Have an understanding of MEP Systems and ability to read services drawings and schematics
Are RICS chartered or are on the path to complete it. We can help
Have a degree or comparable qualification in construction, quantity surveying, mechanical or electrical engineering
Have a strong sense of ownership and accountability, and thrive in a fast paced environment
Are an excellent communicator verbally and in writing
Are detail oriented and quality focused
Love a dynamic environment with the opportunity to manage your own priorities and deadlines
All interviews are conducted either in person or virtually with video required.
