Overview
The Data Center Structured Cabling Technician is responsible for installing, terminating, testing, and maintaining copper and fiber optic structured cabling systems within mission-critical hyperscale data center environments. This role ensures all installations comply with BICSI, ANSI/TIA, customer specifications, and quality standards while supporting the deployment of network infrastructure.
Responsibilities
Install Cat6, Cat6A, and fiber optic cabling systems.
Pull, route, dress, and secure copper and fiber cabling.
Install ladder rack, basket tray, J-hooks, and cable support systems.
Terminate copper and fiber patch panels.
Install and label patch panels, cabinets, cable managers, and work area outlets.
