DATA CENTER LOGISTICS COORDINATOR

Summary of Position:  

The Logistic Coordinator is responsible for organizing, coordinating, and

tracking the flow of materials, supplies, and products within the company or on

a project site. This position ensures that materials are received, stored, and

distributed efficiently and that inventory levels are maintained to meet

production or operational needs. This position may have a team of Inventory

Specialists that report to them.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Manage the ordering, receipt, storage, and distribution of materials and

supplies

* Monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages or excesses; maintain accurate

inventory records

* Track inbound and outbound shipments, verifying packaging and accompanying

documents

* Laise with suppliers, vendors, and internal departments to ensure timely

delivery of materials

* Prepare and process purchase orders

* Conduct and coordinate regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits

* Address and resolve issues related to damaged, missing, or incorrect

shipments

* Maintain the cleanliness and organization of warehouses or storage areas

* Maintain knowledge of the material and tools used for project

* Coordinate and direct the work of any Inventory Specialists onsite

* Recommend and create any process improvements for streamlining the inventory

processes

* Safety training as required by position

* Paperwork filing and maintenance as needed

* Other duties as assigned

Essential Education and Qualifications:

* High School Diploma or equivalent

* Valid Driver’s License

* Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs

* Must be able to work in all weather conditions

* Understanding of materials used in construction or specific project

* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

* Travel required

Preferred Skills:

* Construction industry experience

* Prior inventory or material management experience
