Level 3 pay grade + superannuation + Applicable shift loading penalties Stable long-term opportunity in a critical infrastructure environment Ongoing training and development About the Role As a Data Centre Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for personnel, visitors, and critical infrastructure assets. The role requires strong attention to detail, professionalism, and the ability to operate confidently within a technical environment. Key Responsibilities Monitor and control site access for staff, contractors, and visitors Conduct security patrols and inspections Respond to alarms, incidents, and emergency situations Operate CCTV, access control, and security management systems Maintain accurate incident and activity reports Liaise with site stakeholders, contractors, and emergency services Support compliance with site security policies and procedures Work effectively within a highly secure and operationally critical environment Essential Requirements Current NSW Security Licence Current First Aid Certificate Australian Citizen (compulsory) Baseline clearance Strong communication and report-writing skills Sound computer and technical aptitude Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends Professional presentation and customer service skills Desirable NV1 Security Clearance (preferred) Experience in data centres, critical infrastructure, or control room environments Experience using electronic security systems and access control platforms Technical understanding of IT or facility operations environments Master Licence Number: 408742075 How to apply MSS Security is an Equal Opportunity Employer, valuing the unique backgrounds, experiences, and contributions of each person We encourage and celebrate diversity.
