Data Center Curriculum Developer

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is seeking an experienced Data Center

Curriculum Developer/Instructional Designer to join our fast-growing team. In

this role, you will be responsible for creating instructional materials for the

OCI Data Center Onboarding Program. Your remit will encompass OCI data centers

across the U.S., with potential for global remit in the future. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

Specific responsibilities for this role include (but are not limited to):

* Define and document learning objectives.

* Conduct research and collaborate with subject experts.

* Create instructional material: courses, curriculum, student guides or

training manuals.

* Design content to optimize learning.

* Redesign content to ensure it matches the learner’s needs.

* Create visual, audio and interactive learning tools.

* Training will be a combination of eLearning, instructor-led, and on-the-job

training. 

Basic Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree

* 6+ years of relevant experience in instructional design

* 3+ years of project management experience 

* Highly skilled with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

* Highly skilled with learning authoring tools

* Ability to work in ambiguity, manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and

deliver

* Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results

* Exceptional interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and

experience interacting with both business and development/engineering staff

at all levels

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with cloud infrastructure services 

* Experience with data center onboarding and training

* Experience with video editing software

* Experience with Learning Management System administration

* Experience with cloud software and platform services

* Ability to think broadly and strategically

* Highly analytical, technically proficient, and able to learn new tools and

software quickly

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $91,400 to $187,000 per annum. May be eligible for

bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for

variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as

well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as

well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees

assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is

working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days

annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for

subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees

working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours

per week are not eligible for vacation.

each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap
