We’re looking for a Senior Data Center Project Manager – Grey Space to lead large-scale electrical infrastructure initiatives supporting data center construction and expansion across national accounts.
In this role, you’ll own the full lifecycle of complex grey space projects—from pricing strategy and quoting through execution support and delivery alignment. You’ll partner closely with customers, contractors, manufacturers, and internal teams to drive consistency, scalability, and profitability across multi-site deployments.
This is a highly visible role for someone who thrives in complex environments and brings deep expertise in electrical distribution systems and national account program management.
What You’ll Do
Lead National Pricing & Quoting Strategy
Own national pricing programs for data center grey space projects across multiple regions
Develop and manage detailed quotes for large-scale electrical scopes, including:
Electrical distribution equipment
Wire and cable (low and medium voltage)
Conduit, raceway, and supports
Wiring devices, boxes, fittings
Interior and exterior lighting systems
Build standardized pricing models, labor assumptions, and BOM structures
Partner with manufacturers to negotiate pricing, rebates, and supply agreements
Ensure competitive positioning while maintaining margin expectations
Serve as a Key Customer Partner
Act as a senior point of contact for national data center customers and contractors
Support pre-bid meetings, scope alignment, and high-level customer discussions
Guide internal teams on pricing strategy and technical requirements
Ensure consistency across multi-site, multi-region deployment
Support Project Execution
Collaborate with field teams and operating companies to support project delivery
Provide technical guidance on material selection and substitutions
Troubleshoot supply chain, logistics, and coordination challenges
Ensure alignment between quoted scope, delivered materials, and customer expectations
Drive Vendor Strategy & Standardization
Partner with manufacturers across wire, conduit, fittings, lighting, and distribution
Promote standardization of materials across projects and customers
Identify value engineering and prefabrication opportunities
Support long-term vendor relationships aligned with growth
What You Bring
Experience
8–10+ years of experience in project management, estimating, or quoting environments
Proven success leading large-scale electrical or data center-related projects
Experience supporting national accounts and multi-site deployments
Strong background working with contractors, engineers, and building owners
Experience reading drawings and performing material take-offs
Demonstrated success in pricing strategy and financial ownership of projects
Skills & Expertise
Deep knowledge of electrical distribution and data center grey space systems
Strong commercial and pricing strategy acumen
Ability to interpret construction drawings and build detailed material quotes
Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills
Vendor negotiation and relationship management
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to manage multiple complex projects in a fast-paced environment
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, Business, or related field preferred
Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered
