About This Role
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is one of the fastest growing businesses within
Amazon, with key focus on expanding its footprints in APAC in recent years.
We are seeking talented engineers who can take ownership, eager to learn and
self-motivated. The successful candidate shall follow Amazon Data Center
processes and maintain high operational standards in supporting server and
network hardware and software. They need to adapt to fast and constantly
changing environment and will require shift work including weekend and holiday.
Key job responsibilities
The responsibilities include:
• 7x24 roster duty in data center operations
• Incident first responder and onsite hands on support
• Break-fix and troubleshooting according to process guideline
• Maintain proper media operations according to process guideline
• Capacity landing and decommissioning according to process guideline
• Site management and maintain tidiness in operation areas
• Innovate and contribute from day to day operation experiences to improve
operation efficiency

networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have

professional. Basic Qualifications: - Knowledge of IT system hardware and
network concepts
- Experience in English-language communication skills, both written and verbal
- 1+ years of server hardware troubleshooting and repair experience, or
experience with network equipment installation and configuration Preferred
Qualifications: - Experience in data center engineering or operations, or
experience in operations and on-call support for data center facilities, mission
critical plants, or production facilities
- 1+ years of data center experience, or experience in networking
- Knowledge of cloud computing technologies
- Knowledge of process improvement and quality measures
- Literacy in security and customer data protection
