You’ll join a diverse team of Construction managers, Design engineers,
Procurement managers, Cost Engineers, Technical Project Managers, Finance
Managers, software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists,
security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. You’ll collaborate
with people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and
security while positioning AWS DC delivery for fastest delivery possible for our

AWS is seeking a motivated and data-driven Lead of Pre-construction organization
to support the Americas data center build out. The candidate should have strong
construction project planning from due diligence to design to contracting and to
project close out experience. They must possess strong analytical and financial
acumen , communication capabilities, manager experience, and a hands-on passion
to dive-deep into processes used in our data center operations network.
Additionally, candidate must have proven skills in managing large-scale
construction projects.
As a leader of Pre-Construction, you will lead a team of highly talented
builders responsible for developing project budgets, leading campus planning in
partnership with Real Estate, Design and Project Management, drive
constuctability improvements project over project, deliver project schedules
that align with capacity delivery needs, and partner with procurement to
contract supply partners and supply capacity to enable our long term growth. You
will develop mechanisms and metrics to ensure budget accuracy, scope accuracy,
cost avoidance, value engineering, and schedule and constructability
optimization.

· Strong influencing skills Basic Qualifications: - 10+ years of relevant
management experience in datacenter operations, facility engineering operations,
information technology critical environment facilities, advanced high volume
manufacturing, datacenter build-outs and scaling, or similar experience
- Bachelor's degree or above in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering,
Electrical Engineering, Construction Management or an equivalent engineering
science
- Experience in construction of data center delivery (design, commissioning and
construction), mission critical facilities, or equivalent
industrial/manufacturing facility builds Preferred Qualifications: - Education
in construction management or civil/mechanical/electrical engineering. And.
large scale data center campus build out experience.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package
will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final
compensation will be determined based on factors including experience,
qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers comprehensive benefits

AD&D insurance and option for Supplemental life plans, EAP, Mental Health
