Job Description
Arvato is seeking an Account Director, Data Center Logistics to lead and scale complex logistics operations supporting critical data center infrastructure globally. Reporting to the VP of Data Center Services, this role combines strategic leadership, operational execution, and customer-facing engagement across North America, EMEA, and APAC. This role requires 25–50% travel to customer sites, partner facilities, and operational locations globally.
YOUR TASKS
Develop and execute the strategic vision for data center logistics and 3PL services, aligning capabilities with business growth objectives across global regions
Lead large-scale programs supporting data center deployments, operations, and asset lifecycle management
Establish KPIs, SLAs, and governance frameworks that drive operational excellence and scalability
Build and maintain trusted advisor relationships with enterprise customers and executive stakeholders across regions
Develop and present proposals, business cases, and service offerings that address complex, cross-border customer requirements
Lead executive business reviews and strategic planning sessions with global customers and partners
Oversee global relationships with manufacturers, transportation partners, and logistics providers; drive vendor performance and contract compliance
Lead strategic sourcing, inventory management, and supply chain planning for data center operations
Identify and mitigate operational and supply chain risks across multiple geographies and regulatory environments
Build, lead, and mentor high-performing teams across logistics, operations, and customer-facing functions
Influence organizational decision-making through data-driven insights and executive-level communication
Qualifications
10+ years of progressive leadership in logistics, supply chain, or operations
Significant experience managing complex 3PL operations and logistics providers
Proven ability to develop executive-level proposals and lead customer-facing organizations
Willingness to travel 25–50% across NA, EMEA, and APAC
Experience supporting data center infrastructure, cloud, or mission-critical technology environments preferred
Knowledge of data center equipment, asset lifecycle management, and associated logistics requirements is a plus
Prior experience scaling operations in high-growth environments across multiple regions preferred
