Data Center Projet Manager (Busan, South Korea)

Project Manager – Data Center Location: Busan, South Korea Employment Type: Full-time Role Overview ByteBridge is looking for an experienced Project Manager – Data Center to lead and coordinate data center infrastructure projects in Busan. The role will be responsible for end-to-end project delivery, working closely with clients, contractors, vendors and internal engineering teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget and to the required quality standards. Key Responsibilities Lead data center projects from planning and design coordination through construction, testing, commissioning and handover. Manage data center fit-out, white space, MEP, ELV, structured cabling and IT infrastructure scopes. Develop and manage project schedules, milestones, budgets, resources and risk registers. Coordinate with clients, consultants, general contractors, subcontractors, vendors and internal engineering teams. Review drawings, specifications, method statements, RFIs, submittals and other project documentation. Monitor site progress and proactively resolve technical, schedule and resource issues. Manage project changes, variation orders and commercial impact together with relevant stakeholders. Coordinate procurement and delivery of equipment and materials, including long-lead items. Ensure works comply with project specifications, Korean regulations, client requirements and applicable safety and quality standards. Lead regular project/site meetings and provide clear progress, risk and issue reporting to the client and ByteBridge management. Coordinate testing, commissioning, punch-list closure, documentation and final handover. Manage contractor and vendor performance and ensure agreed deliverables are completed on time. Maintain strong client relationships and act as the key point of contact throughout project delivery. These responsibilities are consistent with current Busan data-center PM requirements, where employers are specifically looking for end-to-end delivery, document/RFI/submittal management, procurement, contractor oversight and control of safety, quality, schedule and cost. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, MEP, Construction Management, Engineering or related discipline. 5–10+ years of project management/project delivery experience, preferably within data centers or other mission-critical environments. Hands-on experience with data center construction, fit-out, MEP, ELV, structured cabling or critical infrastructure projects. Strong understanding of project schedules, construction sequencing, commissioning and handover. Experience managing contractors, vendors and multiple project stakeholders. Able to work independently in a lean and fast-moving project environment. Strong problem-solving, communication and stakeholder-management skills. Fluent Korean and good business English are required, as the role will work with both local contractors and regional/global stakeholders. Current Busan DC PM hiring similarly calls for Korean-English bilingual capability. PMP or other relevant project management certification is an advantage. Must be comfortable working on-site in Busan and travelling to project sites as required. Preferred Experience Candidates with previous experience delivering hyperscale, colocation or enterprise data center projects, particularly white-space fit-out, MEP/ELV infrastructure, commissioning or live data center environments, will be highly preferred.
