Senior Financial Analyst, Data Center Infrastructure Design

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

* Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or another

quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.

* 7 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), consulting,

or a related function, or an advanced degree.

* Experience executing full-cycle FP&A functions including budgeting,

forecasting, variance analysis, and modeling within a multinational company

setting.

* Experience with business partnerships, strategy development, and leadership

presentations.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

* Experience in data center infrastructure design finance modeling within a

fast-paced technology company.

* Experience translating complex engineering concepts into disciplined

financial projections.

* Experience with building data infrastructure (e.g., designing architecture,

building data pipelines, implementing scalable monitoring) and implementing

reporting solutions.

* Experience in developing strategies in fast-paced competitive environments,

impeccable business judgment for resource allocation decisions to achieve the

desired business outcome.

* Ability to work with data to produce analysis, influencing decision making

with numerical analysis and generating insights.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills,

experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $141000 - $205000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Identify, evaluate, and prioritize risks followed by coordinated and

economical application of resources to minimize, monitor, and control the

probability or impact of unfortunate events or to maximize the realization of

opportunities.

* Act as finance partner for data center design engineering organization.

* Architect, defend, and maintain sophisticated financial models. Conduct

investment and Net Present Value (NPV) analyses on next-generation technical

infrastructure to enable structured savings.

* Drive large, matrixed programs spanning multiple organizations, ensuring

robust financial controls, process optimization, and risk mitigation across

the fleet.

* Identify and advocate optimization opportunities that bend the cost curve

downward, providing Google with a distinct technical and financial

competitive advantage.
