About the Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Network Technical Lead to join a growing team supporting large-scale data center network deployments in Santiago, Chile.
This is an exciting opportunity to join an early-stage operation and play a key role in building a new team from the ground up. You'll combine hands-on technical expertise with team leadership, ensuring high-quality network installations while helping establish operational standards and a strong team culture.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate a team of field technicians performing network installation and deployment activities.
Prioritize and distribute work efficiently based on project demands.
Perform quality assurance checks on cabling, fiber, and hardware installations to ensure compliance with technical standards.
Remain hands-on with installation, testing, troubleshooting, and deployment activities as required.
Act as the primary technical point of contact between the on-site team and project stakeholders.
Train, mentor, and support technicians while promoting safety and quality best practices.
Interpret technical documentation, including design packages, rack layouts, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and network diagrams.
Communicate technical issues, questions, and project updates clearly to project management.
Help establish a collaborative, high-performing team culture as the local operation continues to grow.
Support scheduling and technician assignments when needed.
Required Qualifications
4–6 years of hands-on experience in data center or network infrastructure deployment.
Strong experience with fiber optic installation, testing, and troubleshooting.
Solid understanding of data center infrastructure and structured cabling standards.
Experience performing quality assurance and ensuring installation standards are met.
Ability to interpret technical diagrams, design documents, and rack layouts.
Strong communication skills in both English and Spanish (written and spoken).
Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, or coordinate technical teams.
Comfortable working in physically demanding environments and lifting equipment when required.
Based within commuting distance of Santiago.
Willingness to travel occasionally for training.
Nice to Have
Previous formal leadership or supervisory experience.
Experience with equipment installation in enterprise or data center environments.
IT infrastructure background.
Experience working with networking hardware from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, HPE, or Aruba.
Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CDCTP, ECC, BICSI, or equivalent.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
