**Must be available any day, 2nd and 3rd shifts & will be stationed at various

site locations**

The Security Officer protects people, property, and assets by patrolling

premises, monitoring systems, controlling access, and responding to emergencies

to maintain a safe and secure environment. They serve as a helpful professional

resource while ensuring everyone on the property follows safety protocols.

Objectives

* Ensure the safety and security of personnel, property, and company assets.

* Maintain a secure environment that protects employees, customers, and

visitors from harm. 

* Help prevent theft, vandalism, unauthorized access, and other security

threats.

* Respond effectively to emergencies and security incidents to minimize risk

and damage.

* Uphold company policies, safety regulations, and legal compliance standards.

* Provide visible deterrence against criminal activity and suspicious behavior.

* Support organizational operations by creating a safe and secure workplace.

* Protect sensitive information and intellectual property from unauthorized

access.

* Conflict resolution and de-escalation.

* Perform access control at security entrances / exits.

Responsibilities

* Conduct regular patrols of premises including buildings, parking lots, &

entry points to identify potential security risks.

* Monitor and operate surveillance cameras, alarm systems, and security

equipment.

* Control building access by verifying identification, checking credentials,

and managing visitor logs.

* Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, emergencies, and security

incidents.

* Enforce security protocols, company rules, and regulations for premises,

personnel, and visitors.

* Inspect doors, windows, gates, and security equipment to prevent unauthorized

access.

* Investigate suspicious activities, behavior, and security breaches. 

Requirements

* 18 years of age or older.

* High School Diploma or GED required.

* Strong computer / technology skills needed.

* Prior Security, Law Enforcement or Military experience a plus!!

* Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.

* Must be able to work independently.

* Must have the ability to remain calm under pressure.

* Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.

* Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgement and

use appropriate escalation.

* Must have strong observational skills, excellent communication abilities, and

quick decision-making capabilities.
