Role Description
We are seeking an experienced Construction Procurement & Contracts Specialist to support large-scale, mission-critical data center developments in Campinas, Brazil.
This is a highly operational role focused on the day-to-day execution of procurement and contract administration activities. The successful candidate will manage purchase orders, supplier contracts, procurement documentation, and equipment deliveries while ensuring timely execution of procurement processes throughout the project lifecycle
Key Responsibilities
Manage daily procurement activities for construction projects.
Create, process, and maintain Purchase Orders (POs), requisitions, and procurement documentation.
Administer supplier contracts, change orders, RFIs, RFQs, RFPs/RFx, submittals, and related contractual documents.
Coordinate procurement activities for Owner Furnished Contractor Installed (OFCI) equipment and materials.
Track supplier performance, monitor delivery schedules, and expedite critical equipment and materials.
Follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery and resolve procurement or commercial issues.
Support commercial evaluations, pricing comparisons, and cost analysis.
Maintain procurement records and prepare procurement, contract, and commercial reports.
Ensure compliance with project procurement procedures and contract requirements.
Work closely with project managers, construction teams, and suppliers to support project execution.
Identify opportunities to improve procurement efficiency and contract administration processes.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
5–10 years of hands-on procurement, purchasing, or contract administration experience supporting construction projects.
Experience managing Purchase Orders (POs), requisitions, supplier contracts, and procurement documentation.
Strong knowledge of procurement processes, contract administration, and commercial documentation.
Experience administering RFIs, RFQs, RFPs/RFx, change orders, submittals, and supplier agreements.
Experience purchasing and expediting major construction equipment and materials, including generators, HVAC equipment, electrical/mechanical systems, and OFCI packages.
Experience using ERP or procurement systems such as SAP, Oracle, Coupa, Ariba, or similar.
Ability to monitor supplier performance, track deliveries, and coordinate with internal stakeholders to resolve procurement issues.
Experience performing pricing analysis, commercial evaluations, benchmarking, and cost comparisons.
Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
Ability to manage multiple procurement activities in a fast-paced construction environment.
Construction industry experience is strongly preferred.
Data center or mission-critical project experience is highly preferred.
Paralegal or contract review experience is a plus.
Fluent English is a plus.
