Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Lead to oversee quality assurance operations for our data center project in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive QA strategies, managing a team of QA professionals, and ensuring that all project deliverables meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to identify risks, establish testing protocols, and drive continuous improvement throughout the project lifecycle.

Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance strategies and testing plans aligned with project objectives and data center standards

Lead, mentor, and manage a team of QA professionals, providing guidance on best practices, performance feedback, and professional development opportunities

Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and create mitigation strategies to address potential quality issues before they impact project delivery

Design and oversee test cases, test scenarios, and automated testing frameworks to ensure thorough validation of all systems and infrastructure

Analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with development and operations teams to resolve issues efficiently

Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and quality metrics to track project progress and compliance

Prepare detailed quality reports, documentation, and presentations for stakeholders and project leadership

Ensure adherence to data center compliance standards, industry regulations, and organizational policies throughout the project

Coordinate with vendors and third-party service providers to validate quality requirements and deliverables

Organize and conduct quality assurance training sessions and workshops for project team members

Qualifications

Minimum 7+ years of quality assurance experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or supervisory capacity

Proven expertise in data center infrastructure, operations, and quality standards

Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, testing frameworks, and industry best practices

Demonstrated experience with test planning, test case development, and test execution

Proficiency in risk assessment, root cause analysis, and problem-solving

Experience with quality management tools and test automation platforms

Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

Strong analytical and decision-making capabilities with a detail-oriented approach

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English; Spanish language proficiency is preferred

Experience with ITIL, ISO 9001, or similar quality and compliance certifications is preferred

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus

Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams

Budget management and vendor management experience is desirable
