The Hyperscale Senior Solutions Engineer will be the primary technical resource for the sales teams and the sales resource for the operations teams. The Solutions Engineer will determine customer requirements during the evaluation stage of the sales process and will provide technical solutions.

This role will answer both business and technical questions from customers while demonstrating the benefits of products and services. This role is the direct interface with internal teams in order to assemble and present technical, contractual, and service order information to our customers.

Responsibilities, other duties may be assigned:

Responsible for the technical relationship with hyperscale clients.

Lead the design of complex solutions and corresponding services, working with sales personnel in response to customer needs.

Pesent advanced technical concepts in a clear manner to customers through demonstrations, technical review, and design/proposal presentations.

Effectively communicate requirements to technical and non-technical audiences.

Collaborate with operational staff as it relates to initiatives that affect the Solutions Engineering Team.

Respond to functional and technical elements of RFPs

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience

5 or more years of experience in Sales Engineering, preferably focused on managed services and custom designed solutions or applicable customer facing experience

5 or more years of experience working in data centre infrastructure (space, power, cooling, and connectivity) or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications:

8 or more years of experience with enterprise and hyperscale colocation solutioning to include space, power, cooling and connectivity.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Strong desire and self-motivated to learn and expand knowledge of technical and interpersonal skills.

Able to demonstrate strong analytical capabilities and technical knowledge by providing innovative yet supportable solutions

Excellent written and presentation communication skills with the capacity to articulate complex technical topics to varying customer audiences (administrators to executives).

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines. Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
